With all the "funky houses" around on blogs. I thought that I would have a go at making a "funky house". This card is super easy to make. I used up card scraps and added some "doodles" to set it all off. I added a few buttons for dimension. Have a go in your favourite colours......

Having Trouble Thinking of Card Ideas for Males....
Step 1....Go through your left over bits of paper and pull out all your offcuts of browns and blacks. (You can arrange your's in an orderly manner or throw them all out on the table like I have done in the pic.)
Step 2....Gather some matching ribbons, a few washers, a sentiment stamp a punch or 2.

Today....
....at sunset I went down to the creek with intentions of getting a nice sunset with the gum trees lapping in the water. K and I did take some nice shots before the camera battery went flat. (Story of my life!!!) So here is one of the nice shots that we got. It is very peaceful at sunset looking over the water. (Well it would have been if I didn't have K wanting to explore the length of the creek)

Recycle.....
.....Using something that is going to be thrown out makes you feel good when you can use it later after a few simple alterations..... in this case a bit of double sided tape, ribbons and a few buttons. How easy is that. All your old tins from your tin fruit to your tins of tuna can be used. What you will need is a can opener that leaves a smooth edge rather than a sharp edge.
I use the buttons to cover up the ribbon joins. I have made some more of these but covered in paper and embellished for my girls rooms. One daughter places her hair bands and clips in them and the other maybe a rock collection one day or something just as important the next day.....
Have fun creating these tins.
The brown tin I am not yet sure what I will do with it just yet, but the tin in the bottom picture is my craft table scrap bin. It is bright so that no one can miss it (no excuse for making a mess on my scrapping table).

Bust your stash....
Well it could take some of us a while this way (depending on the size of your stash).....but it is a great way to get rid of those small pieces of leftover bazzill. I love bazzill and I don't like throwing any away, and this is fun too.
I gather up some coordinating colours.......... punch out some of your favourite shapes.......add some dots, lines, swirls or circles.....attach them on your card.........Don't forget to make a few at a time. This will save you heaps of time and it is a good idea to have a few spare cards on hand for that unexpected event.

PS I was going to show another card made the same way but with a stamped greeting but the camera was wanting a recharge. Will try to do this later. Enjoy these for now. If you make any using this idea I would love to see what you come up with. Please send me an email with piccy attached. I think I will go and have a play around with the colour theme "Black and White" and see what I can come up with.
