Black and white plus one.

What have you all been up to this wet, crafty Saturday???? Perfect weather to be inside and busy with our hands. I have been busy crafting something for the Roma Patchwork and Crafters Black and White plus one challenge. I think black and white plus one (that is plus one more colour) is a great challenge because black and white are such classic colours. Just about every colour goes with black and white. What I have made so far looks great without having to try too hard. I can't wait to show it to you soon.
Back to my craft....

Doona cover

This is not scrapped or made with paper but it is something that I have been crafting away making on a Tuesday night at the UFO or PHD group.
This is my doona cover finished and on the bed. Done Done and Done. It has taken me some time to finish it off. Very glad that I have finished it. It is made with scraps of material. Some material is quite special, like the ones from clothing my girls wore when they were little and some has been generously given to me by other members of the Tuesday night group. I love my quilt.
(There you go there is my little bit of show and tell for you Debra....)

Glad it is nearly over....

......WINTER has nearly finished and I am sooooo glad. Short days, cold mornings, cold days and cold nights!!!! Bring on SPRING......

.....Let me introduce you to my favourite product at the moment. Stella and Rose by My Mind's Eye. I have used the 6"x6" double sided papers to make some cards. Matching papers is so much easier when you use papers from the same collection. Enjoy!!

This is not scrapping related but soon this may become the next scrapbook page. This is what I have been up to in any spare time that I have. Two kilometres of new fencing here and a bit over there.
The kids kept themslves entertained building themselves some cubbies along the fenceline.

Busy, busy, busy....

Hello to everyone, Want to know why we have not posted anything for some time.....well we have been living life..... Today was the opening of the Football and Netball season for school sports and we were there in fine form supporting our kids. Brooke had two kids to run around after, one at football and one at netball. I had one at netball and sat back and relaxed watching the netball in the Rec Centre. It is so much fun watching the kids have some fun. We hope that we can be more inspiring to you soon.... Don't forget the recipe swap is due at Easter.
