Quote!!

This is one of the quotes that I am stitching at the moment to make a shaggy quilt. I will keep you posted on the other quotes as I start stitching each one. I have asked each member of my family to contribute a favourite quote. This is my quote that I chose.( Not sure who the nuts are in my family???) Will show you the stitched quote soon....

I am hoping that life will settle back into a "normal" routine very soon. We have had a flood in our region that has been very devastating to many people. I hope that you are all well wherever you are!!

Scrapping!!

Yeah....... it's been raining again so I have had some time to sit and scrap!! Photo's have been mounting up and I thought that enough is enough. I will get in and get some scrapping done. These scrapbooking pages are very basic, using some double sided paper and a few rub-ons, flowers and buttons. The 2 cards are made using left overs. The tree card uses the left over paper from the scrapped pages and the flower card is actually material from a pair of my daughters old board shorts. I loved the colours of the shorts and could not just toss them into the pile for my husbands grease rags.

These are some photo's of what is blooming in the garden today. Not sure of their technical names. But enjoy them as much as I do!!

This one is a very strange flower but one with a magnificant colour. It reminds me of the gumnut babies. Don't mind the weeds they add some character to my garden!!
