Brooke
Love the cobwebs.....This is a close up of the detail on the cobweb card. Brooke has used glossy accents on the web to give it the shiny appearance.
Brooke also used glossy accents over the lines to give it some dimention and gloss.
The photo has made the words a little hard to read, it says....a daughter is.....

Once again I would like to thank you all for taking part in this challenge and making it so much fun. I have loved looking at all the different creations. AND WOW what a variety of differing ideas we got.
(The photo's are in no particular order, I did try to group cards from the one creator but that was not too successful. Very sorry about that.)

3 Circles makes.....
....One of these cute little flowers.
Have a go in all different sizes.
So easy and fun to make.
Punch out your circles, fold two in half, place one circle in the centre of the two folded circles and adhere together. Make a stalk for the flower. I have used paper for my stalks, another idea would be the leaf ribbon. Add some doodling around the shapes for definition and around the edge of your card.

Challenge update....
Thanks for taking part in our challenge. I hope that you will have as much fun as Brooke and I in doing so. I find it fun to do challenges as it expands my creativity making me do things that I would not normally do. I know that when I saw these papers I did have a little mental block, but after the first cut into the paper I was right.
I don't want to stress you too much with deadlines for the challenge so when we have the majority back here we will upload the photos onto the blog. Maybe a week or two?? No pressure it is meant to be fun.
So...... go....... have some fun creating....

Challenge....
Whilst sitting at the markets yesterday Brooke and I did a little brainstorming. We made a challenge for ourselves. These are the rules.
1. Make 4 fun cards using the 4 doublesided sheets of our new Luxe papers.
2. We intend to upload pictures for you all to see.
How easy is that........very easy.......so then we thought
Who else wants in on the challenge??????
If you want to take part in this challenge let me know and we will get you a challenge pack. For a $2 challenge kit please contact Gayle. You will get the 4 sheets of double sided paper to create your four cards.
Thanks for all your lovely comments lately, espescially for Brooke's blogging. Hopefully she will post some more very soon....Hint hint.....

My First Post
Hi Everyone,
Well I am just having a training session with Gayle on how to use this blog and Gayle just told me we have been blogging for a whole year and this is my first post (am I bad???).
Oh well now I have started I guess I can't stop now!!
Well we are just sitting here at the markets blogging away! We have some great bargains so if you missed this one don't forget the next!!
I left the kids at Grandma's so it is nice and peacefull. The kids got into my craft cupboard the other day and to create some master pieces and thought they were using glitter and tipped all my embossing powders out everywhere. (Where was the supervision from the mother.................. Hanging the clothes out) they are so quick. So now there is a kid ban on craft in my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I nearly cried!!!
Oh well do you know where I can get some more? (he he he)
Gayle has ordered some beautiful things in this time (not that she doesn't always, but not much orange)
We have some new 6x6 papers in pads they are really nice we have:
- Paisley Road
- Stella and Rose
- Sultry Paper pad
Cute little rub ons look a little bit like Holly Hobbie
We have some nice cute little journal cards in a nice box they are 4x6 and has 6 different designs in the Paisley Road collection.
Well you will just have to check it out for yourself, see you there at this one or the next!!!!
Bye for now

Paper Trimmer.
My original paper cutter ( a smaller version of this cutter) has been put out of action. After 10 years of papercutting service my little cutter has cut his last piece of paper. RIP. I loved my fiskars cutter so much that I have upgraded to the larger size to accomodate 12"x12" papers also. I have another paper cutter in stock at the moment so let me know it you are needing to lay an old cutter to rest. Now I love my new cutter as much as my old one.
Try this....
......tip I found in a stamping and card making magazine. It will highlight your stamped image.
Step 1. Stamp your favourite flourish stamp.
Step 2. Take your gel pen and draw around the edge of the stamped image.
Step 3. Take a look at your finished product. Try it on different coloured papers with different coloured gel pens.
